Kindred Kids Intervention and Consulting Services Inc is the vision of Jennifer Mitchell and Jessica D’Silva. Based in Edmonton, Alberta, Kindred Kids was incorporated in April 2010. Kindred Kids has since expanded to Calgary, AB in December 2013. Between them, they have over 42 years of experience working with children with developmental disabilities and their families.
They bring a unique perspective in that both have worked front line with children before moving up into program facilitation and management, staff hiring and training and administration. As a service provider they have a vision of empowering families and providing constructive and functional support.
Jenn and Jes are not only colleagues for over 15 years, but are also friends and sisters (in-law)! They both make therapy fun and enjoyable and encourage embracing individual quirkiness. They wouldn't be complete without their rescue dogs who bring endless joy, love and cuddles.
